About Us
Cherry Hill Potters Guild was formed in 2018 by a group of potters who had a vision of being part of a larger artists’ community housed in the historic Cherry Hill Village Arts Factory.
The Cherry Hill Potters Guild committed to joining the Village Arts Factory as it was undergoing a transformation from Henry Ford’s last village industry into a picturesque regional arts and culture destination, supporting and encouraging a variety of arts, education, historic preservation, veteran services, entertainment and recreation for Southeast Michigan.
The goals set forth by the Partnership for the Arts and Humanities in Canton, MI harmonized with the Cherry Hill Potters Guild’s mission statement:
“The Cherry Hill Potters Guild is a diverse community of clay artists, sharing a love of clay. We spread knowledge, appreciation and enjoyment of handmade pottery through classes, community events and exhibitions. We accomplish this in a collaborative, harmonious and supportive work environment; encouraging individuality while promoting the sharing of expertise.”
In our spacious, custom designed, light-filled pottery facility, the Cherry Hill Potters Guild will welcome pottery lovers of all levels to explore the beauty and experience of creating pottery through our sales, hands-on workshops and extended classes. Experienced potters may apply for membership, while those newer to pottery may choose multi-session day or evening classes or single event pottery workshops.
Our new facility is extraordinary, created through the extraordinary efforts of the Partnership for the Arts and Humanities and the members of the Cherry Hill Potters Guild. Everyone is welcome to explore the best pottery facility in Southeastern Michigan!
We provide equal opportunity on all of our programs, activities and services without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex or disability.
